Sussex-based art publisher King & McGaw has chosen the Nyala 4 to help with its printing

Art publisher and online retailer King & McGaw has installed a swissQprint Nyala 4 in order to deliver the performance and quality required for its business.
The Sussex-based company serves end-users via its own website alongside over two dozen white-label websites. King & McGaw seeks to ‘celebrate art’ by selling high-quality prints, collections, and gifts.
The business also supplies many of the UK’s museums and galleries with prints for their gift shops, as well as wall art products for a number of retail groups.
The Nyala 4 was chosen due to its speed of production, capabilities, and reliability. With over a dozen machines already in-house, it was imperative to King & McGaw to have a machine capable of high-resolution printing in order to maintain its strong reputation.
Ian Brooker, King & McGaw’s operations director, says: "It really is a win/win solution for us. We were looking to enhance both our performance and our productivity in one acquisition.
“With the swissQprint build quality and low running costs, the Nyala 4 gave us the answer for which we had searched. It is an investment for our future and its productivity, reliability, and flexibility means our ROI is already very positive."

The company is now producing additional work that previously would have been screen or pad printed, thanks to the materials and functions of the new machine.
Managing director for swissQprint, Erskine Stewart, comments: "Working with customers who recognise the wider advantages of swissQprint equipment is a delight, and we feel sure that the Nyala 4 will continue to deliver for King & McGaw for many years to come."
"Our operators love it; our customers love its quality, and I love its positive impact on both our portfolio of products, our bottom line, and our carbon footprint,” adds Brooker.
He concludes: “The Nyala is an exceptional machine and its agility in printing a wide variety of new materials at speed and to the highest of quality, combined with its production and environment-friendly features, mean it is our new flagship printer."
