Events organiser, Easyfairs, has commented on the success of its 2023 packaging exhibition

Packaging Innovations & Empack has announced record-high registrations, visitors, and great feedback from visitors and exhibitors alike.
Multi-format event organiser, Easyfairs, has reported higher than ever registrations, 6,500 unique attendees, a 21% increase compared to 2022’s showing.
Toshihiro Yoshimura, chief executive officer of foodservice business Wasion, said: “This was my first time at Packaging Innovations. I didn’t expect such an amazing variety of packaging solutions, I found everything I need to improve my foodservice business.”
Kayleigh Russell, sales manager at Micro Delta Packaging, said: “We have had a brilliant show with lots of leads. As always, Easyfairs was organised and professional. We can’t thank the team enough.”
The show was alive with lots of networking, meetings, and new products, as well as live panels and presentations which took centre stage. Founder and managing director of The PackHub Paul Jenkins, for example, spoke in detail about the resurgence of paper-based solutions and the rise of innovative bio-based materials.
Speaking after the event, Renan Joel, managing director of the Packaging Division at Easyfairs, added: “We want to thank every speaker, exhibitor, and the thousands of visitors who came from across the world to make this the biggest and best Packaging Innovations yet.
“It was a show where we pushed the envelope and tried so many new things, from the Foodservice Zone to the Future Trailblazer launch to Contract Pack & Fulfilment being elevated to a third ‘headline act’ to make this a triple event.”
Joel adds: “It’s incredibly gratifying to see all the new things we tried meet such a positive response thanks to the hard work and passion of our Easyfairs team. The only problem is trying to make next year’s show even better, but we’re definitely up for the challenge.”
