The producer of paper and packaging materials has detailed its upcoming “innovation house”

Fedrigoni Group, a global manufacturer of speciality papers, premium labels, and self-adhesive materials have announced the launch of a new Innovation Center based in Verona, Italy.
The new location will reinforce its research and development (R&D) initiatives as well as continue the development and production of sustainable recycled and recyclable materials.
The Group’s chief executive officer, Marco Nespolo, says: “This ambitious project facilitates a multi-faceted collaboration between our suppliers and strategic partners to create a significant impact on the entire ecosystem in which we operate.
“Without continuous innovation, there is no future. Improvement not only comes through R&D but also through the exchange of experiences and insights between different parties with complementary skill sets. This helps broaden our perspectives to think of bigger and better solutions for our industry and the sectors we serve.”

The space will be 3,000 sq. m in space and is located next to Fedrigoni’s Verona-based office. The centre will consist of four complementary areas for the practical implementation of innovative concepts.
The areas will be Research, Development & Innovation, FedLab, the Customer Academy, and Customer Experience Center which will include immersive physical and augmented reality samples.
Customers will be able to visit in order to participate more effectively in the creative process, allowing them to feedback potential solutions for future products.
The centre is expected to be fully operational in Q1 of 2024 which will be celebrated by colleagues across the group.
