FIAUK Print Awards celebrate flexographic success

The Flexographic Industry Association (FIAUK) paid tribute to the best and brightest in this sector of the industry during this year’s edition of its annual awards.

The 2023 FIAUK Print Awards took place at Liverpool’s Hotel Titanic on June 15th, with those in attendance treated to an evening of fun and entertainment.

Wynne Evans, renowned singer, comedian, actor and ‘Go Compare’ advert star, hosted the event, with support from famous voiceover artist Roger Tilling.

In terms of award winners on the night, Reflex Labels Newcastle took home the prestigious ‘Best in Show' Gold award. Interflex Group Sunderland scooped Silver in the same category, while fit Kappa CPR Pre-Print and The Encore Group both won Bronze.

Other winners included Contact Originators, which retained Supplier of the Year, as voted for by FIAUK printer members, as well as Repro Company of the Year for the fourth year running. 

Kate Slomiany, an account handler at Contact Originators, also took home Gold in the Student of the Year category for her achievement on the FIA Academy program.

“Every year, FIAUK has the privilege of seeing the outstanding breadth and depth of talent on show across the flexo industry, and 2023 was no exception,” FIAUK chairman Andy Wilson says.

“The standard of entries we receive keeps climbing higher and higher, which is a testament to the hard work that our colleagues and partners have put into driving excellence in every aspect of the sector.

“This year’s Print Awards were a huge success with the industry joining together to celebrate their talent and dedication. A huge congratulations to our winners and to everyone who took part, and we can’t wait to get planning for next year’s event.”
