The next round of BPIF Training Apprenticeships to begin in February 2024
BPIF Training is calling on its next group of apprentices to enrol in its upcoming February apprenticeship programs.
The apprenticeship qualifications have just received a ‘Good’ rating across all areas in its recent Ofsted inspection. This rating affirms BPIF’s commitment to providing a high-quality of education packed with industry-relevant content.
The BPIF Training apprenticeship programs are curated to specifically meet the changing needs of the print industry with trainees receiving comprehensive training that is aligned with the latest industry trends.
Through a BPIF Training apprenticeship, participants can gain practical skills and knowledge directly applicable to print; attain recognised qualifications that meet industry standards and will boost credibility in the print sector; and receive tailored learning paths to meet the specific needs of each participant as well as their employer.
The biggest provider of both print and print-related apprenticeships in England, the BPIF currently offers trade and business skills across two sectors for apprenticeships.
Under the BPIF’s trade suite are four apprenticeship programs, the first of which being the Print Operative and Print Technician programs, which are all-encompassing offering three specialisms: pre-press, press, and post-press.
Next, the Signage Technician apprenticeship is aimed at those looking to develop capacity in their business to design, manufacture, fabricate, and install signage.
Finally, the Lean Manufacturing Operative standard is applicable in all manufacturing businesses and focuses on developing and supporting improvement, using continuous improvement methods, kaizen tools, process visualisation using lean principles and problem-solving tools and techniques.
