IPIA sets date for key networking event
More than 130 print professionals are expected to attend the IPIA Annual Networking Lunch on June 18th in Birmingham
ESMA will provide a 360-degree view of print within manufacturing at drupa
The European Specialist Printing Manufacturers Association (ESMA) will show a 360-degree view of print as part of the manufacturing process at drupa.
Across almost 500sq m of space, the ESMA Member Pavillion will feature industry members within industrial inkjet and screen printing.
The THIEME 3000 Vision AL will be launched, setting a new standard in high-precision and fully automatic screen printing. This has been developed primarily for foil/FIM and sheet material printing in the automotive sector, as well as for decorative panels, membrane switches, and household appliances.
Thieme (B81-4) will deliver live print demonstrations at least twice a day with the process being supported by inks from Marabu (B81-1) and samples for visitors featuring contributions from ESMA members Drop (B81-5), ESC (D81-1), Fimor (B81-6), Saati (D81-2), SPS Technoscreen (E81), and VFP (B81-3).
In terms of industrial inkjet, ESMA will demonstrate direct-to-shape printing with the LabelSaver concept with robot handling system representing a collaborative expertise of K-Flow Consulting (D81-5) in process development, O&PM Europa in aqueous primers, and ideeGO (D81-4) in inkjet integration.
The LabelSaver can print aqueous inks onto non-porous substrates coated with a primer and employs nIR units from Lambda Technology (D81-7), ink supply systems from Neatjet (D81-6), UV curing units from IST INTECH (D81-3), printheads from Seiko Instruments (Hall 5, C30), as well as electronics and image processing software from Meteor Inkjet (Hall 7A, D3).
Screen printing will be demonstrated across Booths B81-7 and inkjet will be demonstrated on Booths D81-8.
ESMA will also be involved with the touchpoint textile feature in Hall 4, Booth B30 by supporting the conference programme based on state-of-the-art printing on textiles.
Drupa 2024 will take place from May 28th to June 7th in the Dusseldorf Exhibition Centre, Germany.
