GEW will introduce a new UV LED system at drupa 2024 alongside its full product range

UK curing systems manufacturer, GEW, will launch a new UV LED system at drupa 2024 alongside showcasing its full product range.
According to the company, its focus at the exhibition will be on its latest LED systems for sheetfed offset and industrial printing.
Operating in the label and narrow web sector as well as the mid web and wide web sector, GEW has designed and installed UV systems at up to 2.5m wide globally.
The manufacturer's solutions have been designed for a range of applications such as UV hot melt, siliconization, wide web offset and flexo, excimer mattification, direct-to-product decoration, and wood coating.
At drupa, GEW will also show its ArcLED technology which enables UV arc and UV LED lampheads to be quickly interchanged on a press.
For this, Arc and LED cassettes are compatible with the same power supply and GEW’s RHINO power control system automatically recognises the lamp type and switches the power supply accordingly.
Robert Rae, managing director of sales at GEW, says: “Our UV systems are renowned for their intelligent design, reliability, and energy efficiency, which sets them apart as the default choice for many in the industry, whether for OEMs or for retrofitted installations.
“This will be highlighted at drupa by the number of GEW systems in operation at various OEM stands all around the show, and this in itself speaks volumes about why visitors should stop off at the GEW stand.”
Drupa 2024 will take place from May 28th to June 7th in the Dusseldorf Exhibition Centre, Germany.
