The paper and packaging company has detailed what it will be showing at this year’s exhibition

Paper and packaging specialist Mondi has discussed its presence at this year’s drupa exhibition in Düsseldorf.
The company will be exhibiting at the Touchpoint Packaging (tpp) forum in Hall 3 where it will be showcasing its latest sustainable packaging and paper solutions including the PERGRAPHICA, IQ GRASS+ Packaging, and IQ Board brands.
The premium papers are created for the luxury application market as well as personalised and laser engraved products. The PERGRAPHICA brand offers a broad colour palette ranging from three shades of white with rough or smooth textures to Infinite Black and 31 distinctive colours.

To fit with the tpp’s five focus areas Mondi will also be addressing issues such as “de-inkability”, recyclability, cradle-to-cradle certification, and consumer trends.
To demonstrate the papers’ attributes Mondi will be showing prototypes of luxury perfume packaging developed with the NABA Academy of Fine Arts in Milan.

Bernhard Cantzler, marketing and sales director at Mondi Uncoated Fine Paper, says: “Through our diverse portfolio of sustainable and certified paper products, we help our customers to successfully build their print businesses in a market environment that continues to be very volatile. We are innovators, and we work in partnership with manufacturers.”
On the tpp stand Mondi will be concentrating on the Neo-Ecology/Sustainability and Consumer’s Mind area where it will focus on a range of issues regarding circularity including reusing packaging, packaging as a service, barriers for food packaging, and evolving consumer and business trends/processes.

Drupa 2024 will take place from May 28th to June 7th in the Dusseldorf Exhibition Centre, Germany.
