Sandon Global to offer anilox technical know-how

Manufacturer of laser-engraved anilox rolls and sleeves for flexographic printers, Sandon Global will be offering its technical know-how on anilox technology at drupa.

The company will present solutions for common print challenges as well as ways to improve overall efficiencies and drive down costs.

Included in the lineup will be XPRO GMX ANILOX, HVP and FLUID FP engravings for overcoming challenges such as scorelines, tricky coating applications, excess anilox inventories, and pinholing. 

Other highlights include Sandon Global’s patented anilox sleeve construction system designed to prolong sleeve life, strategies for overcoming challenges in water-based flexo printing on film, and the promotion of its unique EDT sealing for oxidation resistance.

Sandon Global will also demonstrate its laser capabilities with its six-metre engraving capabilities and has collaborated with its OEM partner, SOMA, to design a bespoke end ring embedded with an RFID chip. 

As a DFTA member, the company will also participate in drupa’s official Packaging Printing Technology and Innovation Tour led by Anke Frieser Tausch, technical head of DFTA Technology Center.

In 2023, Sandon Global expanded with a new German office to enable it to trade more easily with the EU and the company has also recently made investments in its UK HQ.

Drupa 2024 will take place from May 28th to June 7th in the Dusseldorf Exhibition Centre, Germany.
