The machine is Duplo’s first B2+ flatbed die-cutter which has a focus on advanced automation

Duplo International has announced it is enhancing its growing line of automated print packaging machines with the launch of the DSM-1000 B2 Die-Cutter.
The new solution is the company’s first B2+ flatbed die-cutter and has a specific focus on advanced automation, user safety, and intuitive technology all of which Duplo sees as setting a new standard within the industry.
Currently on display at Duplo’s Addlestone-based showroom, the die cutter will be a key aspect of its New Revenue Streams display on the Duplo stand.
The DSM-1000 can produce packaging, POP displays, pocket folders, and shaped cards of various sizes and types all on a number of substrates.

The machine’s focus on automation and precision comes about thanks to its ability to perform shape cutting, matrix creasing, perforating, and kiss cutting automatically whilst also separating and removing cutting waste for maximum efficiency.
Duplo says the die-cutter has the ability to open new revenue streams for commercial printers by tapping into the digital packaging market which is currently seeing a big uptake in popularity.

Drupa 2024 will take place from May 28th to June 7th in the Dusseldorf Exhibition Centre, Germany.
