Visual Print’s MD moves To Solopress
Graham Hunstone, managing director of recently acquired print provider, Visual Print & Design, has been hired as head of partnerships by fellow UK printer, Solopress
The company has launched two sub-brands and promoted two members of staff

Eight Group, a print and marketing company which rebranded prior to the acquisition of Marketlayer earlier in the year, has announced new promotions and sub-brands within the group.
Karen Herbert and Rob Moules have been promoted to divisional managing directors for Eight Days A Week Print Solutions (Eight Days) and Eight Plus respectively.
The company has also launched Eight Digital, which will build on its acquisition of Marketlayer to offer digital strategy and emailing marketing, as well as Eight Create which covers artwork and creative strategy.
Based in Nottingham Eight Group states it has a combined turnover of £16m and employs 32 members of staff.
The changes within the group has meant Lance Hill has changed role from group managing director to chief executive officer of Eight Group.
Hill comments: “There has been a lot going on in the last three years – the MBO in 2021, the launch of Eight Plus in 2022, B Corp certification in 2023 and the acquisition or Marketlayer this year. All of this has meant I have been spinning a lot of plates, and also spending too much time in the detail, which meant not enough on the strategy and structure to deliver on our long-term objectives.”
Regarding the promotions of Herbet and Moules, Hill adds: “Karen and Rob have been pretty much running the respective divisions, so this is giving them formal recognition of that plus ongoing autonomy to do what they do best – make it happen!”
In March Tom Oldershaw joined the company to assist in the broadening of services as strategic solutions director.
Hill says: “With Tom on board as well we now have the correct infrastructure and senior team to continue with our strategic offering, whilst also retaining our core principles of delivering award winning customer service.”
The restructuring of the business has been called a ‘natural step’ for the company by Oldershaw, who adds: “We have a really powerful group offering and I can’t wait to start talking to potential clients knowing we have the brand and marketing to show what we can do.”
