Flint Group, a producer of ink and coating solutions for print and packaging, has relocated its newspaper ink production facility and service centre to Frankfurt, Germany.

The new hub, chosen for its transport links, features state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment to further increase Flint’s production capabilities for the news printing sector.

Flint’s Frankfurt-based technology team will oversee ongoing innovation for its coldset inks designed for newspaper printing.

According to Flint Group, this relocation is part of a wider €1.5m (£1.29m) investment in its capacity that has seen it optimise its production processes and strengthen its technical service team.
