Reuseabox re-distributes used cardboard boxes to use as packaging

Reuseabox, a circular economy packaging company, has announced a rebrand of its logo, colour scheme, and overall design. The rebrand aims to better communicate its commitment to sustainability and its mission of shaping a better future for people and the planet through cardboard reuse.

Partnering with a range of manufacturers, Reuseabox divert used cardboard boxes away from the recycling process and re-distribute them to other companies to pack their products.

The new look, designed in collaboration with creative design company Root Studio, aims to introduce a modern visual identity, connect with a broader audience, and make the company’s message about reducing packaging waste more accessible.

Commenting on the change, Rachael Hunt, marketing manager at Reuseabox, explains: "When we first started Reuseabox, our sole aim was to help businesses save money with used cardboard boxes.

“However, as we have grown and learnt more about the critical environmental challenge we face, and worked with the University of Lincoln to research why reuse is better than recycling for the planet, it became obvious that our brand needed to evolve.”

Hunt is a previous winner of the Rising Star Awards for her work at Lincoln-based Visual Print and Design, where she was promoted to head of marketing and business development.

Bringing her knowledge of print and packaging to Reuseabox, Hunt was able to help with the recent rebrand. “After talking to our team, customers, and industry experts, we realised that while we were communicating our mission, the visual identity didn't seem to be quite hitting it. This is why we knew it was time for a refresh,” Hunt adds. In addition to the rebrand, Reuseabox is set to launch a new website this autumn, with a focus on elevating its overall customer experience.
