Previous owner, Bob McWilliams, had a 64-year career in the print and paper industries

Litho and digital printing company LT Print Group or ‘LTP’, has been acquired by its managing director, Andrew Whyte.
Whyte takes over LTP from former owner Bob McWilliams, who stepped down as chairman last month.
LTP, which has its headquarters near to Liverpool in Wallasey, has been in operation for over 40 years. Its services include bespoke direct mail, books, and brochure printing, as well as a range of wide-format offerings.
Clients of LTP include a wide array of the UK’s hospitality, events, education, and public sectors. Previous clients include The Chester Grosvenor, Typhoo, and DMM International.
Speaking of taking over from previous owner McWilliams, Whyte says: “Bob had a wonderful career spanning over 64 years in the print and paper industries. Having established the origins of LT Print Group in 1981, he was proud that the business had grown in strength and expertise over the years due to the loyalty of our customers and staff.
“My task now is to maintain this legacy and ensure we continue to provide the very best service to our customers for many years to come.”
In his official statement, Whyte goes on to speak about the difficulties facing the UK print industry as a whole: “The industry is at a critical juncture. There are a number of challenges we face in terms of rising costs, increasing demand for complex short-run jobs on short lead times, and a need for continued creativity and service excellence.
“This all means companies must invest to respond effectively to changing market and customer needs. My role at LTP is to ensure we are ready, relevant and responsive to our clients, always delivering the superb quality they expect from us. These are exciting times and we’re up for the challenge!”
