Visual Print’s MD moves To Solopress
Graham Hunstone, managing director of recently acquired print provider, Visual Print & Design, has been hired as head of partnerships by fellow UK printer, Solopress
The deal reportedly brings 100 new customers to the Scottish printer supplier

Photocopier and printer supplier, Document Data Group (DDG), has acquired the assets of Fife-based machine supplier Hire Tech.
The deal reportedly brings in the region of 100 new customers to DDG which now has a turnover approaching £5m. According to the company the agreement will “expand the geographical reach and customer support capabilities for both enterprises”.
DDG is a fast-growing company based in Bellshill Scotland that also supplies document management and IT services. It has experienced steadily increasing sales since consolidating its operations and moving into new headquarters at Strathclyde Business Park in 2020. It currently has 35 employees.
David Forsyth, managing director at DDG, says: “We are delighted to welcome Hire Tech into the DDG family, and we expect that this new partnership will bring significant benefits to the operations of both companies.

Brian Hamilton, managing director of Hire Tech, has been in the printing industry for more than 40 years and has won a number of accolades, including being named as Canon’s top engineer in Scotland.
