University reimagines prospectus with new card approach
The university says the prospectus was designed in response to demand for authenticity and customisation among Gen-Z audiences
The print association is offering another edition of its Recognising Excellence event at the Crowne Plaza in Stratford-Upon Avon
The Independent Print Industries Association (IPIA) has detailed its upcoming Recognising Excellence event which will offer members and guests the chance to network and gain new insights through educational experiences.
Taking place on December 3rd at the Crowne Plaza in Stratford Upon Avon, the event will start with an expo and networking lunch where IPIA members will be able to showcase their solutions and share their knowledge with visitors.
Following a day of education and networking the IPIA will then hold a gala dinner and awards night which will give attendees the chance to make new connections and strengthen existing relationships.
The IPIA’s expo and Business Networking Hub runs from 11:00 to 15:00 with a break for lunch. With more than 22 exhibitors, the IPIA says there will be a series of interactive experiences for visitors to engage with.
The expo also gives visitors the chance to win £450 and a year’s free IPIA membership by acquiring stamps from each of the 22 event exhibitors.
The IPIA Gala Dinner will begin at 19:00 with a champagne reception followed by a three-course meal and drinks ahead of the announcement of the Recognising Excellence award winners at 21:00.
The evening festivities will also include ‘Stand-Up Bingo’, which will help raise money for The Printing Charity, as well as live music from The Arcadias.
The event will also act as a chance for IPIA chair, Charles Rogers, to officially step in the role of IPIA president, while Alasdair Browne from Abbot Print, the current vice chair, will assume the role of chair for the next two years.
Speaking of the changeover, Rogers comments: “It’s been an incredible honour to serve as chair of the IPIA these past two years, facing the challenges and exciting transformations within our industry head-on.
“I couldn’t imagine a better way to celebrate this journey than at Recognising Excellence, which truly embodies the spirit of our association. This event brings the industry together in a powerful way and highlights just how much the IPIA has grown in its impact and reach. I’m looking forward to marking this milestone with our members and celebrating all that we’ve accomplished together."
