Antalis has announced a binding agreement to acquire Fortuna Digital as part of the material distributor’s growth strategies

Paper, packaging, and visual communications distributor, Antalis, has announced a binding agreement to acquire Fortuna Digital, a digital print supplier in Europe.
The acquisition has been presented as a key milestone in Antalis’ growth and innovation strategy, with the aim of consolidating its solution portfolio and client network across the European continent.
Founded in 1990, Fortuna Digital has a presence in several European countries including Croatia, Serbia, Hungary, and Austria. It generates a calculated revenue of over €19m (£16m) and employs 75 people.
Fortuna’s products and services include printers, display systems, self-adhesive film, and eco-responsible media.
Antalis’ acquisition makes it a larger player in the visual communication sector of Central Europe and the Adriatics.
Vice Stanić, managing director and founder of Fortuna Digital, says: “We are delighted to join the Antalis Group, enabling us to provide more advanced solutions and respond proactively to evolving market challenges.
“I am confident that our outstanding team will continue to bring its expertise to the Antalis Group. Our clients will benefit not only from state-of-the-art products but also from enhanced support that will assist their digital transformation. This will strengthen the links with our suppliers.”
Hervé Poncin, chief executive officer of Antalis Group, adds: “Antalis is delighted to welcome a new, experienced, and talented team that has proven its ability to develop visual communications over the last few years.
“This acquisition will allow us to expand our European presence to the Adriatics. It will also reinforce our cooperation with the best visual communication manufacturers. We are confident that this strategic investment will help us accelerate our growth while continuing to meet our clients' needs with products and services that exceed their expectations.”
Antalis has made a raft of purchases and acquisitions in recent months across a variety of sectors.
Earlier this month, Antalis announced the purchase of a multi-million-pound UK packaging company, aptly named The Packaging Company.
The business was purchased as part of Antalis’ strategic aims to expand its presence, product offerings, and service capabilities within the UK packaging market.
In October 2024, the company acquired Xerox’s EMEA paper business, which distributes office paper and digital printing products in more than 40 countries.
In the same month, Antalis also purchased Poitoo Adhésifs, a French supplier of consumables and equipment for wide-format media, with the goal of broadening its product portfolio and strengthening its market presence in France.
