The Essex based trade supplier has looked back on its history to celebrate its 20th anniversary

Bluprint UK, a supplier of consumables and parts for the printing industry is celebrating 20 years in business after navigating years of risks and challenges.
The company started in 2003 when managing director Robb Harman moved from working in a busy industrial unit to setting up his own home office and converted outbuilding, dubbed the “International Distribution Centre”.
Harman made the move in order to prioritise a better work-life balance and allow him to spend more time with his family while exploring new business opportunities.
Harman says: "We are both grateful and humbled by what has been achieved from our modest beginnings. However, our mission has always extended beyond our own success.
"Bluprint UK is committed to giving back to our community and supporting individuals and charities that aspire to make a positive difference."
The company has ensured it celebrates important milestones and focus on colleague well-being by adopting a four-day workweek, which has been implemented for the past 15 years. A bold move within the industry which tends to stick to the traditions of office hours.
During its inception the company recognised a niche in the sheetfed market for Anti-Marking solutions which led to much of its success.
Bluprint later secured the UK and European agency for the well-known Super Blue anti-marking systems alongside glass bead products PrintGuard, Super ICP, and Blue Glass which helped it make sales in over 76 countries worldwide after appearances at shows like Drupa and IPEX.
The company says Bluprint was formed to embrace the idea that blueprints for the future are constantly unfolding, evolving, and adapting new strategies and opportunities.
The team looks forward to the next phase of its journey by utilising its ‘resilient team’ and commitment to new trends and customer satisfaction.
