Instantprint has celebrated hitting a huge milestone as it reaches 1 million customers

Artisan coffee and ebike specialist, Electric Cycle Café, has become instantprint’s 1-millionth customer.
To mark the occasion, instantprint founders, Adam Carnell and James Kinsella printed their last order free of charge and hand-packed it.
Since it was founded in 2009, instantprint (part of the Bluetree Group) has taken over 4.6 million orders, completed 7.2 million jobs, and sold 7 billion individual product quantities on Forest Stewardship Council-certified paper stocks.
Over the past 14 years of business, instantprint has created handy online services and features, invested in its factory, expanded its premises, and launched a new sustainability strategy.
Electric Cycle Café has used instantprint to produce its marketing through a range of business cards, posters, and flyers for the shop. The 1-millionth order from the business was 500 350gsm silk business cards.
Speaking to instantprint, owner Peter said his top print tip for other businesses is to use a printer that has a fast turnaround on their products. “Instantprint is fast, reliable, and reasonably priced!” he says, adding: “We’ve found this also applies to when you’re ordering larger quantities say 500 or 1000 business cards, posters, or leaflets, like we have in the past.”
Reflecting on the milestone, founders Carnell and Kinsella add: “Celebrating our 1-millionth customer is such an exciting time for us here at instantprint. We both think back to when we first started out with just two members of staff in a tiny office in Newcastle.
“Now, we’re the UK’s largest online printer, fulfilling thousands of jobs each day. It’s such a monumental milestone for us and we couldn’t be prouder of our team and of course, our customers who have helped get us to this point. We can’t wait to share what the future holds for instantprint.”
