Colin Sinclair McDermott has launched his own podcast to speak to experts in the world of print

Colin Sinclair McDermott AKA The Online Print Coach has launched ‘The Printerviews’, a podcast focusing on real discussions with professionals in the worlds of print, graphics, and signage.
Having recently released its second episode the podcast has been received extremely well by others in the industry and has already ranked highly in listening charts.
Speaking about the podcast launch on LinkedIn, McDermott states: “I'll be having real discussions with real people in our industry, getting to know what brought them into the world of print, what makes them do what they do, and explore the valuable lessons learned along the way.”
Following the release of the first episode, McDermott added: “The feedback so far has been great and it's really nice to know it resonated with so many people. Hopefully, I can continue to deliver content that does so.”
The first episode features founder of Make it Happen Sam Armstrong as McDermott’s first guest, a decision made by McDermott to demonstrate how print and signage is overlapping more and more.
The two professionals share a lot of similarities in their businesses as Armstrong holds sales and product training workshops while McDermott offers 1-to-1 coaching and group coaching.
The Printerviews’ second episode features Gareth Robertson from Print Pit who speaks about the trials and tribulations of running a print business, the advantages of selling print online, and the importance of having a strong support network.
McDermott also ensures the podcast has a personal touch by asking his guests about interesting stories from their lives, adding a human element to each episode.
Feedback from LinkedIn has ranged from “perfect lunchtime listening” to “everything a podcast should be – insightful, relaxed, and informative”.
The podcast is available on all major podcast platforms including Spotify, Apple Podcast, and Google Podcast.
