Castell Howell Foods has installed a Konica Minolta AccurioPress C84hc, supplied by Solutions in Technology, in order to enhance its in-house print capabilities
Welsh food wholesaler, Castell Howell Foods, has enhanced its in-house print capabilities with the installation of a Konica Minolta AccurioPress C84hc – supplied and supported by Solutions in Technology – Konica Minolta’s exclusive partner in South Wales.
Established in 1988, Castell Howell Foods serves over 8,000 venues across Wales and the South West of England including restaurants, cafés, and schools. Known for its commitment to regional sourcing, the company relies heavily on printed menus and monthly A5 booklets to communicate with customers and promote its offerings.
Castell Howell installed the high-chroma toner production press to reliably deliver vibrant colour prints, highlighting the image quality of the C84hc as a key reason behind the purchase.

The AccurioPress C84hc offers 3,600 x 2,400dpi resolution and comes with Konica Minolta’s IQ-501 intelligent automation system, which is designed to ensure consistent colour reproduction and precise registration.
The C84hc’s ability to handle grease-proof and specialty media has also enabled Castell Howell Foods to expand its print offerings, including full-bleed menus and marketing collateral.
