Citipost, Dufaylite, and Visitor International have all joined print and paper advocacy group, Two Sides, pledging to promote sustainable print and packaging production

Print and paper advocacy group, Two Sides UK, has announced the addition of three members to the organisation, namely Citipost Mail, Visitor International, and Dufaylite.
Founded in 2008, Two Sides is a not-for-profit, global initiative promoting the unique and sustainable attributes of print, paper and paper packaging.
Its mission statement is “to dispel common environmental misconceptions, inspire and inform businesses and consumers around the world with engaging, fact-based information about the sustainability and attractiveness of print, paper, and paper packaging.”
Citipost Mail are a communications agency specialising in direct marketing, helping businesses to create, print, and manage direct mail as well as advising on marketing strategy.
Citipost has focused recent efforts on becoming a more sustainable company and mitigating its carbon output. In 2024, the company announced that it had been certified carbon neutral for a second consecutive year.
Speaking of joining Two Sides, David Bradford, director of marketing and regulatory affairs for Citipost Mail, says: “We recognise the urgent need to protect our planet for future generations, and becoming carbon neutral is a critical step towards that goal.
“Our efforts extend beyond merely meeting regulatory requirements; they are a testament to our genuine concern for the environment and our pledge to do more to minimise the impact our business has on the environment. Our commitment to being a sustainable business aligns perfectly with what Two Sides does and will help us to communicate the great sustainable merits that mail has.”

Visitor International, the international association of visitor information providers, also recently joined the paper advocacy group.
Visitor International’s members primarily distribute printed brochures, maps, and guides on behalf of their clients to influence trip-takers and drive business to them. Many members also produce their own visitor guides, aiming to ensure high-quality and accessible information reaches travellers when and where they need it.
Speaking of the reasons for joining Two Sides, John Rice, president of Visitor International, says: “Printed visitor brochures are recyclable, biodegradable, and produced using paper sourced from responsibly managed forests.
“Our members are committed to responsible print management—ensuring materials are well-maintained, distributed efficiently to reduce waste, and recycled. The environmental credentials of print, combined with its proven effectiveness in visitor engagement, make it a vital tool for tourism businesses worldwide. We are pleased to become a member of Two Sides and look forward to promoting the sustainable story of printed visitor information.”

Rounding up the new members is Dufaylite, a UK paper honeycomb manufacturer that creates, produces, and delivers sustainable solutions for packaging, displays, and construction. Dufaylite also manufactures Premier Paper’s Ultra Board product for use in POS displays as well as other 2D and 3D creative displays.
A reported 80% of Dufaylite’s honeycomb board facings and all its honeycomb papers are crafted from 100% recycled content and sourced from sustainably managed forests.
Commenting on joining Two Sides, Nikki Harman, marketing director at Dufaylite, says: “Our commitment to sustainability aligns perfectly with the Two Sides campaign. At Dufaylite, we believe protecting the planet for future generations isn’t just a responsibility – it’s a necessity.
“That’s why we’re committed to developing truly sustainable paper honeycomb solutions and driving the industry away from polystyrene for good. By continuously refining our processes and championing innovation, we’re helping businesses take meaningful steps toward net zero. We’re proud to join Two Sides and stand alongside brands that share our vision for a more sustainable future.”
In order to join Two Sides, all prospective members must abide by a set of principles that aim to promote sustainable business practices. This includes supporting and encouraging forest certification schemes, advocating for the use of recycled fibre in suitable products, and supporting the purchasing of raw materials from sustainably managed sources.
By joining Two Sides, the companies will all have access to Two Sides’ library of communications tools, consumer research, sustainability advice, and events.
Two Sides also recently help launch a new initiative in the UK, titled ‘PrintGreen’, which aims to demonstrate the sustainability of print to brands, agencies, and media planners.
PrintGreen is a collaboration between Two Sides, the British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF), the Data and Marketing Association (DMA), Independent Print Industries Association (IPIA), MarketReach, and the Strategic Mailing Partnership (SMP).
Underpinned by facts about paper from Two Sides, the initiative will provide a free industry carbon calculator for organisations to assess the headline carbon impacts of a wide range of printed formats.
