International Print Day will return tomorrow for its eleventh year, with a ‘PrintSmart’ theme that focuses on how print and technology can combine to create effective campaigns

Tomorrow (October 9th), printing professionals worldwide will once again celebrate International Print Day, declaring their love of print by sharing “printspiration” across social media with the hashtag #IPD25.
Now in its eleventh year, International Print Day aims to be a global showcase for print’s creativity and innovation. The campaign has generated more than 200 million social impressions to date.
This year’s theme, #PrintSmart, showcases how print in all its forms can become more valuable and measurable for customers and consumers, especially when paired with marketing technology, data collection, and AI.
The #PrintSmart hashtag aims to emphasize the themes of integration, relevance, value, and sustainability.
The official International Print Day 2025 poster, which is designed by Craig Bower of Design That Rocks, is available now at internationalprintday.org.
The poster features a QR code which connects users to a virtual assistant that delivers insights on how to #PrintSmart, aiming to help customers see how a combination of print and technology can deliver stronger outcomes in marketing, sales, education, and communication.
Deborah Corn, founder of International Print Day and ‘Intergalactic Ambassador to The Printerverse’ at Print Media Centr, says: “#PrintSmart is about showing the world that print is most effective when partnered with technology.
“For printers, it unlocks the ability to innovate, work faster, reduce waste, personalise at scale, and prove value with measurable results. For customers, it opens the door to collaboration with knowledgeable printing partners who bring the tools, data, and strategy to enhance outcomes and show how powerfully print drives engagement.”
