North American printing and graphic arts association, PRINTING United Alliance, has officially announced details of its upcoming annual PRINTING United Expo, which heads to the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando this October 22nd to 24th.

The annual trade exhibition aims to unite the entire printing industry – including commercial, packaging, wide-format, apparel, textile, and in-plant sectors – for what it touts as “the most immersive, innovation-led expo in our history.”

With more than 800 exhibitors across a one million sq ft space, attendees are set to see numerous product launches, first-in-North America debuts, and new experiential show floor activations.

Speaking of the event, PRINTING United Alliance says: “PRINTING United Expo was founded on convergence – the powerful idea that growth opportunities multiply when segments come together.

“Today, convergence isn’t just a trend, it’s a business imperative. Commercial printers are expanding into packaging; apparel decorators are digitising; wide-format shops are exploring décor; and all sectors are embracing automation, sustainability, and artificial intelligence (AI).”

Summing up what the expo offers, the association concludes: “Only PRINTING United Expo offers a single destination where all these markets, solutions, and strategies converge under one roof.”

A range of global and North American product debuts have been teased across automation, finishing, workflow, sustainability, and digital transformation from what the expo has labelled as “powerhouse industry names.” News on the debuts is set to be announced in due course.

New areas for 2025 include the PRINTING AI Pavilion, a special area featuring a dedicated ‘AI wall,’ live demos, presentations, and success stories on how AI is transforming print.

A ‘Spill the Ink’ roundtable discussion area has also been introduced; a drop-in discussion zone built for real-time conversations between peers and thought leaders across the industry.

The Apparel Zone offers hands-on training opportunities across screen printing, direct-to-film, cut-and-sew, embroidery, sublimation, and heat-applied graphics. A range of sessions and presentations are also being hosted in the expo’s Apparelist Live! theatre.

The exhibition’s new G7/G7+ Exchange area, which highlights the importance of global standards and consistency across print segments, is already sold out. Attendees can also join in a planned G7+ on-site certification which is taking place during the show.

Alongside these areas, live demos of PRINTING United’s iLEARNING+ online learning platform will be shown right on the show floor, with courses spanning AI, dye-sublimation, colour management, and screen-making.

Chris Curran, group president of media and events at PRINTING United Alliance, says: “PRINTING United Expo is more than just a trade show — it’s where the full spectrum of print comes to life under one roof.

“From the debut of our new PRINTING AI Pavilion to the most robust Apparel Zone yet, along with a media day for our global content creators, Student Day for the future of our industry, and our expanded show floor education; this year’s event embodies the innovation and community that set the Expo apart. We can’t wait to welcome the global industry to Orlando this October.”

Print Monthly will be attending this year's event, providing updates, video interviews, and other coverage throughout the exhibition.
