The organisers of drupa have announced that exhibitor registration for the 2028 event will open in February 2026.

Drupa, which is considered the world's largest trade fair for printing technologies, takes place every four years at the Messe Düsseldorf in Germany, with the event often described as the ‘Olympics of the printing industry.’

Drupa 2024, which featured over 138,000sq m of exhibition space, attracted an estimated 170,000 trade visitors from 174 countries and included 1,643 exhibitors from 52 nations. 80% of the attendees were international, with 22% from Asia and 12% from the Americas.

The next edition of drupa will take place in Düsseldorf from May 9th to 17th 2028. Those wishing to exhibit have been encouraged to apply through the drupa website once registration opens in February.

Reflecting on the last year in the printing industry, the organisers of drupa say: “An intense and eventful 2025 lies behind us – marked by great passion, strong commitment, and a willingness to innovate. These qualities have strengthened our industry in a dynamic environment and propelled it forward.

“There is already a palpable sense of anticipation for drupa 2028, the world's leading trade fair for printing technologies and a global platform for integrated industrial solutions. It will once again bring together the trends, innovations, and ideas that shape our industry. And it will once again bring people together. The curiosity, optimism, and energy of the community are already with us.”
