The event will include “a vibrant atmosphere with great food, drinks, and opportunities,” according to the organisers

The Stationers’ Company, which represents the communications and content industries, will host an event for influencers and video creators in May.

The networking event, held at the historic Stationers’ Hall in London on May 20th, is designed for individuals and companies looking to make a bigger mark on social media, YouTube, or podcasts.

Speakers at the event, titled ‘InfluencersLDN’, will include content creators from a range of sectors sharing their success stories and insights.

The Stationers’ Company has called the Stationers’ Hall venue “a historic home of content”. Between 1557 and 1923, the Company was used by authors to register their works for copyright. The archive at the Stationers’ Hall includes paperwork for some of Shakespeare’s plays and poems.

Neil Barrett, digital media and software liveryman for Stationers’ Company, will chair the sessions.

Speaking of the event, Barrett says: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming the capital’s creators to our hall. We can trace the roots of the industry back hundreds of years to what was being talked about right here, all that time ago.

“We’d love influencers, YouTubers, company social media managers, and others in the field to feel at home with us as they hear some great stories, network, and hopefully have some fun too.”

Speakers at the event include Paul M.M. Cooper, who has 1.36M subscribers on YouTube with the channel FallofCivilizations. He writes, produces, and hosts the Fall of Civilizations podcast, which has charted in the top ten British podcasts, and gained upwards of 100 million listens since it launched in 2019.

Also speaking at the event is Ali Moore, known as AliThomasGB on Instagram. He has amassed millions of views across TikTok and Instagram with content unpacking British history and culture.

Rupert Knowles, founder and owner of NXT Consulting, will explore how artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping the content creator and influencer landscape. Knowles specialises in tech investment and combating digital disruption.

Rounding up the speakers is actress and author, Caroline Ward, who is also head of social media and content at communications agency, Geobrand. As well as performances in films including the BIFA award-winning horror film, Host, Ward brings brand stories to life through purpose-driven creative content.
