Brother purchases Mutoh in £170m deal
Brother Industries has officially acquired machine manufacturer, Mutoh, which is now a consolidated subsidiary of the wider Brother portfolio
Ten vehicle wrapping specialists have been named as sponsors for the inaugural event
Print and signage association FESPA, has announced the ten vehicle wrapping specialists which have been named as sponsors for the upcoming inaugural WrapFest at Silverstone from 26-27 April 2023.
The sponsors are Hexis, Avery Dennison, 3M, APA, Grafityp, Spandex, William Smith, Surfex, HP, and Metamark.
Running from April 26th to 27th at Silverstone, these companies will deliver wrapping demonstrations and training-style content and will have a stand at the main exhibition area of the event.
Commenting on the sponsorship, marketing executive at William Smith, Clare Robinson, says: “As a supplier to the sign and graphics industry, we’re really excited to lend our support to the first ever WrapFest, a truly interactive event with a huge selection of live application demonstrations. We can’t wait to showcase our Training Academy wrap courses and portfolio of products.”
Pole Position sponsor for the event is European sign vinyl film manufacturer, Hexis, which will showcase its SKINTAC wrap vinyl range, paint protection, and automotive tint films. The company will also sponsor the UK & Ireland World Wrap Masters competition and is the exclusive vinyl supplier of the competition.
Duncan MacOwan, head of marketing and events at FESPA, adds: “We are delighted to confirm that some of the industry’s biggest names will deliver live demonstrations at the first ever WrapFest.
“The pit-garage area promises to be a vibrant feature where attendees can learn about new materials and pick up quality techniques that can be transferred to their business; we know from this community just how much attendees will benefit from witnessing experts first-hand.”
The Wrap Institute, an online learning community with over 2,000 instructional videos for vinyl wrap installation, production, and design, has been confirmed as the official Training Partner for the event.
A total of 14 pit-garage spaces will feature at WrapFest each hosting a minimum of four sessions each day with over 100 live demonstrations set to take place over the two days.
