Baumer hhs to focus on five areas at drupa 2024

Industrial gluing solutions manufacturer, Baumer hhs, will focus on five key areas at drupa 2024 under the slogan: “Leaving an innovation fingerprint where others leave a carbon footprint”.

The five areas the company will focus on are: sustainability, digitalisation, customer care, innovation, and vision.

Under the theme “Yesterday’s pioneer – today’s benchmark”, Baumer hhs will highlight the changes happening in packaging and printing such as digitalisation and automation as well as the ecological footprint of products like folding cartons.

At drupa 2024, the company will showcase its expertise in these areas such as switching the gluing process from lines to defined dots of glue, reducing glue consumption in folding cartons by 50% or more.

A member of the 4evergreen alliance and a SUGRA development partner, Baumer will also present its activities to promote the Rethink. Renew. Recycle. approach to sustainability.

On the theme of digitalisation, Baumer will address cyber security, condition monitoring, data management, and remote maintenance. 

Constantly updating its customer service offering, Baumer will highlight its preventative maintenance programmes as well as its remote technical support, repair and replacement programmes for older systems, and remote technical support.

Describing every drupa event as “like a window into the future”, Baumer will finish its time at the exhibition with a presentation of its vision for the company’s future. 

The company is predicting continued sustainability improvements, the exploration of new markets, solutions for meeting new customer needs, and more efficient collaboration with packaging manufacturers globally.

Andreas Brandt, marketing manager of Baumer hhs, says: “Our innovation capabilities are undiminished, as evidenced by the solutions we have introduced to the market in recent years. Most are developed in collaboration with customers and we will be exhibiting several of them at drupa.” 

These include Baumer’s Side Steam Gluing Solution, the Xcheck DCM for monitoring product mix-ups in sheetfed die-cutters using 2D codes, Baumer’s solution for securing pallet loads, and its controllers.

Brandt also promises some world premieres at the Baumer stand.

Drupa 2024 will take place from May 28th to June 7th in the Dusseldorf Exhibition Centre, Germany.
