CMYUK confirms first UK showing for JWEI cutting systems at The Print Show
According to CMYUK, the new generation JWEI SG1625 and JWEI SG3216 digital cutting systems offer upgraded speed, control, usability and production capabilities
HEIDELBERG will once again open its doors this October for a two-day industry event in Germany focusing on the digital transformation of the print industry
Following its premiere last year, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (HEIDELBERG) is once again inviting the international printing industry to its two-day SHIFT event for 2026.
The event, which takes place on October 6th at halle02 in the city of Heidelberg and on October 7th at HEIDELBERG’s “Home of Print” in Wiesloch-Walldorf, will focus on the digital transformation of the printing industry, automated production processes, and robotics.
SHIFT 2026 will feature demonstrations of both the Jetfire 50 and Jetfire 75 inkjet digital presses, and will delve into the continued integration of AI into modern print shops.
The event concept combines presentations, real-world user case studies, and networking opportunities, with its focus aimed at chief executive officers and decision-makers in printing companies, as well as digitisation experts from around the world.
The first day of the event will focus on key industry trends and challenges, with international speakers from printing and technology companies providing practical insights into successful process digitisation projects.
In addition, several HEIDELBERG customers will present their experiences with implementing digital transformation projects, including German print service provider (PSP), Meinders & Elstermann. The company is one of the pilot users of Prinect Touch Free in conjunction with the Jetfire 50 industrial digital printing system and will report on its experience implementing the new workflow and the efficiency gains that have been achieved.
On the second day of the event, participants will experience the digitisation of print production live at the “Home of Print,” the HEIDELBERG Print Media Center, at the Wiesloch-Walldorf site.
The focus for these demonstrations will be on industrial digital printing applications using the Jetfire 50 with inline finishing and the Jetfire 75, both controlled by Prinect Touch Free, as well as intelligent postpress processing, data analytics, and automation concepts for integrated hybrid production combining digital and offset printing.
