The new Print and Apply Knowledge Centre is now open in the Swedish city of Malmö

Variable data printing solutions Domino Printing Sciences has announced the opening of its new Print and Apply Knowledge Centre, designed to support customers around the world.
Located in Malmö in Sweden, the home of Domino’s print and apply manufacturing centre, the new facility will provide a designated space for print and apply product testing, as well as demonstrations tailored to individual customers.
Domino will also use the site to support product development and for supporting its regional distribution centres.
On-site amenities include two modular and adjustable conveyor systems, which Domino says are designed to emulate customer production lines for both product and pallet labelling, in addition to Domino’s full range of product and pallet labellers and applicators.
Jan Lindgren, customer operations and site director at Domino Sweden, comments: “Our new Print and Apply Knowledge Centre will help us to roll out the latest, most modern developments in print and apply technology, and provide a space for virtual, and face to face, print and apply product testing, training, and education.”
“The global print and apply market is experiencing significant growth which is expected to continue in the coming years, and we recognise that to meet the needs of our customers we must show that we can be a sustainable and trustworthy long-term partner. The best way to do this is to deliver reliable products, alongside great service and support – our new Print and Apply Knowledge Centre will allow us to do all this and more.”
In other news, Domino has been honoured at the Change Awards, securing first place in the ‘Future-Ready Leadership’ category.
The award, Domino says, recognises its approach to managing change across its entire business. In particular, judges highlighted Domino’s Change Management Framework, a training program for both management teams and employees.
Judges also hailed Domino’s annual Change Management Maturity Audit, which, conducted collaboratively with its executive team, helps to ensure integration, consistency, and measurement of change management across all business functions.
In addition, two Domino employees were shortlisted for individual awards. Lucia Ivanova featured in the Best Capability Builder category and Stephanie Chandler the Technology Implementation category.
Robert Pulford, chief executive of Domino, comments: “Our business agenda will require change, and this award is a testament to our commitment to equipping our leaders to ‘manage change’, both initiating and ensuring it delivers meaningful benefits.”
