London Packaging Week announces raft of new strategic partners
A number of new associations and industry bodies have partnered with London Packaging Week 2026, with the event hoping to promote a more unified and collaborative industry approach
As part of a new collaboration, HEIDELBERG and Metsä Board will join forces to develop a range of new packaging innovations

Fibre paperboard producer, Metsä Board, and print press manufacturer, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen (HEIDELBERG), have entered into a new strategic collaboration.
By combining Metsä Board’s expertise in high‑quality, lightweight paperboard materials with HEIDELBERG’s advanced offset, flexographic, digital printing, and converting technologies, the partnership aims to accelerate innovation across the packaging value chain while opening up new opportunities for customers to achieve more productivity and more efficient production workflows.
As part of the collaboration, the companies will seek to develop a range of new packaging solutions to improve operational performance and consumer experience.
It also includes joint R&D projects, pilot production runs, and customer demonstrations at HEIDELBERG’s Print Media Centres, as well as at Metsä Board’s Excellence Centre and Design Studios.
