Wishesjust4you is calling on the printing and packaging industries to donate surplus materials to use as art supplies for children with life-limiting illnesses and disabilities

Non-profit community interest company (CIC), wishesjust4you, is calling on printers, packaging companies, carton manufacturers, and paper merchants to donate surplus art and print materials to help support its mission to bring joy to children with life-limiting illnesses and disabilities.
The organisation was created by founder Bill Stillman out of a desire to bring joy to children and young people living with lifelong disabilities and illnesses. Stillman was previously the managing director of Swan Packaging from 1990 to 2000.
Wishesjust4you provides art experiences to children facing significant health challenges, offering them a creative outlet for self-expression, engagement, and memory-making. The organisation works closely with children’s hospices, special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) schools, and NHS nursing teams across the UK.
The organisation welcomes donations of clean, reusable materials, including but not limited to paper and board textiles, foam, bubble wrap, and any surplus art supplies.
The organisation has already seen a significant response from the print and packaging industries, with a variety of materials donated.
Speaking of the response, Stillman says: "I made some calls to old friends and print contacts who offered to help. Within 24 hours, we had generous offers from 12 companies.”
Speaking in more detail about the donations required, Stillman continues: “We would like to speak to anyone who has stock of unused or waste materials, including art materials, board, and paper.
“These materials can bring so much joy and creativity into the lives of children facing unimaginable challenges. By donating surplus supplies, businesses can directly contribute to meaningful, hands-on experiences that brighten these children’s days.”
Those interested in supporting the initiative have been encouraged to contact Bill Stillman directly, either by email at bill@wishesjust4you.co.uk or by phone at 07342945690.
