UFP has been named as a new ‘Tier 1’ distributor for Kyocera, offering a range of its hardware and toner solutions

Kyocera Document Solutions UK has named UFP UK as a new ‘Tier 1’ distributor for its ECOSYS hardware and wholesale toner for all channel customers, as well as ECOSYS and TASKalfa fulfilment toner for Kyocera’s authorised servicing dealers.
According to Kyocera, the new partnership with UFP aims to act as a “springboard” for the ongoing growth of both companies. UFP will gain access to an array of Kyocera devices and genuine toner, thereby expanding its product portfolio. Meanwhile, Kyocera adds another distributor in the print and IT space to its network, with the goal of strengthening its position in the reseller market.
The agreement represents a resumption of a previous partnership between the two companies, with UFP having formerly been a distributor for Kyocera genuine consumables.
UFP already has a number of established relationships with Kyocera partners, which Kyocera says should "ensure a seamless transition for resellers, dealers, and customers."
Pete Lunn, head sales lead at Kyocera, says: “It’s great to be working with UFP once again. We’re always looking to expand our distribution network and connect with companies that offer long-standing expertise and experience in the reseller market.
“UFP ticks all the boxes in this respect, so we’re looking forward to seeing the partnership develop and bringing the benefits of ECOSYS hardware and toner to more customers.”
The news follows a recent reshuffle of senior management at Kyocera Document Solutions UK.
Andrew Smith, who previously worked as senior director of business and operations, has been appointed as the company’s new managing director.
In addition, Steve Doust has been named the new group sales director (Direct Sales), while Suki Purewal takes on the role of group service and operations director. These appointments follow the return of Pete Lunn as indirect sales lead in November 2025.
