Konica Minolta Business Solutions UK will support Cancer Research UK through a range of fundraising and volunteering activities over the next 12 months

Konica Minolta Business Solutions UK has announced a new partnership with registered charity, Cancer Research UK.
Cancer Research UK is the largest independent funder of cancer research globally, investing over £400m annually into work that aims to save and improve the lives of those with cancer.
Employees at the UK arm of the print press manufacturer voted unanimously to support the charity. The partnership will involve Konica Minolta employees participating in an extensive programme of fundraising, awareness, and volunteering activities throughout the next 12 months.
Konica Minolta has kickstarted its programme of events with members of the senior management team joining other employees for a 20km walk around London landmarks, as well as another sponsored walk around the city of Chester.
A sponsored bike ride has also been planned, which will depart from Konica Minolta’s Client Engagement Centre in Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire.
In addition, Konica Minolta employees will be able to use an allocated annual volunteering day to support Cancer Research UK events such as its Race for Life, Shine Night Walk, Big Hike, and Pretty Muddy events.
The collaboration aligns with Konica Minolta’s broader ESG commitments, which assert that it will contribute positively to its own social impact and that of its customers and partners.
Gillian Nuttall, people and culture ESG partner for Konica Minolta Business Solutions UK, says: “We will be fully embracing Cancer Research UK’s endline, ‘together we are beating cancer’, by giving all of our employees, customers, and partners many opportunities to join forces and get involved.
“Partnering with causes that resonate with our employees is mutually beneficial. I have seen first-hand the positive impact that getting involved has on both mental and physical wellbeing. It is hugely rewarding to know that you are helping to make a difference and being able to have that shared experience with colleagues is especially satisfying.”
Konica Minolta UK also recently announced that two of its AccurioPress C14010 digital presses have been installed by hybrid mail provider, CFH Docmail, the first of their kind to be installed in the UK.
The two new AccurioPress C14010s, which replace three previous AccurioPress C6100 models, were purchased as part of CFH’s wider growth strategy, which includes the upcoming launch of a new online print platform.
The new presses were assessed by CFH as meeting its demand for a high-performance digital toner solution which can deliver consistent print quality across diverse media types.
The C14010 combines inline finishing, automation, and quality control features with the aim of providing enhanced print speed, consistency, and production efficiency in comparison to previous models.
