Konica Minolta has launched the AccurioPress C14010/S and C12010/S production presses, offering fifth colour capabilities, and Intelligent Media sensors
Konica Minolta has unveiled its latest generation of its AccurioPress series with the launch of the C14010/S and C12010/S production presses.
The C14010/S and C12010/S presses are designed for commercial printers along with those specialising in enterprise document printing such as central reprographic departments and in-plants.
The presses aim to offer consistently high performance and speed, achieving print speeds of up to 140ppm and 120ppm respectively. The S models also come with fifth colour capabilities, allowing businesses to explore new creative avenues with specialist inks.
The machines come with six new Intelligent Media sensors designed to offer a significant advancement in automated print management. The sensors can identify paper type, weight, and size automatically, aiming to ensure optimal print settings without additional operator input.
Other key features include the new IQ-601 Intelligent Quality Optimizer unit, which includes a new inline spectrophotometer for precise colour profiles.
The AccurioPress models can support a diverse range of media including thick paper up to 450 g/m2, with the ability to print on envelopes, embossed paper, polyester, and cut-sheet labels. Additional white toner models further expand these offerings, enabling businesses to tap into new revenue streams.
The systems accommodate long sheets up to 1,300mm, or 900mm in duplex, designed for media including banners and book covers.
The AccurioPress series of high-volume colour toner printers was first launched by Konica Minolta in 2019 with the launch of the C14000 and C12000 models. By 2023, the company had sold more than 700 of the machines in Europe, producing an estimated 8.4 billion A4 sheets in a three-year time span.
The C14010/S and C12010/S production presses are expected to become available by May 2025.
Speaking of the new solutions, Malcolm Smith, category manager of Professional Print at Konica Minolta Business Solutions UK, says: “By delivering considerable advancements in terms of quality, productivity, and options, the new AccurioPress C14010/S and C12010/S production presses are a milestone in the evolution of digital print.
“We are looking forward to demonstrating these new systems and their considerable benefits at our Client Engagement Centre (CEC) in Bedfordshire.”
Konica Minolta UK’s CEC, which was opened last June in Houghton Regis, provides a central location for product sales demonstrations, training, and events centred around solutions from Konica Minolta and its partners.
The CEC includes a fully operational professional printshop featuring a comprehensive range of AccurioPress presses.
