Cotswold Labels confirmed purchase for a new Konica Minolta AccurioLabel 400 digital press at The Print Show 2026 as part of its goals to majorly expand its label output

Gloucestershire-based commercial printer, Cotswold Labels, has signed for a new Konica Minolta AccurioLabel 400 digital label press at The Print Show 2026 as part of significant investment in the company’s short‑ to medium-run and fast‑turnaround label production.
Established in 2010 following the acquisition of Malmesbury Labels, Cotswold Labels supplies a range of specialist label products to customers in sectors including food and drink, artisan manufacturing, retail, and industrial applications.
As demand for shorter runs, faster delivery times, and premium print quality continues to rise, the business identified the AccurioLabel 400 as the ideal next step in its digital transformation, having previously been impressed by the results and service of a Konica Minolta AccurioLabel 230 and an AccurioLabel 190 press.
Managing director of Cotswold Labels, Howard Burr, attended The Print Show to formally confirm the order. Speaking about the purchase, Burr says: “Investing in the AccurioLabel 400 was an easy decision for us.
“Our customers expect exceptional quality, flexibility, and fast delivery, and this press gives us the capability to continue meeting those expectations. The reliability, speed, and colour performance stood out immediately, along with our previous experience of Konica Minolta’s support.”
The AccurioLabel 400 has been developed to bring advanced productivity, automation, and colour consistency to support label operations. Boasting speeds of up to 39.9m/min, enhanced white toner performance, and improved media handling in comparison to previous models, the press will enable Cotswold Labels to expand the complexity and diversity of its print work.
Steve Maslen, major account manager at Konica Minolta Business Solutions UK, adds: “The AccurioLabel 400 is designed for ambitious label businesses like Cotswold Labels which wants to increase capacity, improve efficiency, and utilise the highly eye-catching effects of white toner to expand into exciting new applications.
“We’re delighted to support Howard and his team as they continue to grow, and we look forward to seeing the new opportunities this investment will unlock for their customers.”
