UPM reaches phase II of Sappi venture
Material manufacturers, UPM and Sappi, have reached the next stage of their Joint Venture which was first announced in December last year
Antalis has expanded its Cyclus recycled paper range, following the renewal and revamp of its Keaykolour range of uncoated papers

Materials distributor, Antalis, has expanded its Cyclus range of recycled papers with the launch of Cyclus Silk Plus.
Available in both ream-wrapped and bulk pallet formats, Cyclus Silk Plus aims to offer both flexibility and performance for eco-conscious print projects.
An exclusive Antalis brand, Cyclus is composed of 100% recycled fibres, offering a range of both coated and uncoated options.
Cyclus Silk Plus has been developed to offer enhanced natural whiteness, a silky satin surface, and high print clarity, along with an extended weight range of 90 to 250 gsm which aims to provide greater creative freedom and substrate options.
The new Cyclus offering is designed to minimise environmental impact. It is FSC Recycled, Blue Angel certified, and was awarded a four-star rating in the Antalis Green Star System.

The Green Star System rating is based on two key criteria, namely the origin of the fibre and the manufacturing process, with each product given a star rating from zero to five to define its environmental performance.
Antalis also recently announced the renewal and revamp of its Keaykolour range of uncoated papers by developing a design tool that aids in colour selection.
The tool, which Antalis made with creative brand agency, Design & Practice, aims to enhance the standard role of a traditional swatch book, serving as an educational resource designed to explore what Antalis describes as “the ever-changing nature of colour.”
Featuring a series of cards with cut-out windows, the tool incorporates print processes including micro-embossed hot foils and 3D sculpted embossing. By overlaying the cards provided, users can create changing, and hopefully inspiring, colour harmonies and contrasts.
The tool features the full Keaykolour spectrum of 45 hues, tints, and shades, available in various weights, as well as a new ‘extra-rough’ paper grade in black and white, and Keaykolour’s tactile embossed papers.
