A book designed by Honest Studio and printed by Taylor Brothers, has been highlighted by Antalis for its use of Olin Design paper

Olin Design, Regular Bright White has been used for a special book printed by Taylor Brothers, which cites itself as Bristol’s oldest printing company.
The book is a commemorative publication created to acknowledge the work of the Dyson Cancer Centre which is based at the RUH Bath. The centre was built with help from RUHX, which works closely with Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust.
RUHX is the official NHS charity of the Royal United Hospitals Bath and helped raise £10m towards the new cancer services hub. In recognition of this achievement, the Dyson Cancer Centre book was created with Antalis, RUHX, Honest Studio, and Taylor Brothers.
Taylor Brothers was established in the 1830’s and was incorporated as Taylor Brothers Bristol in the 1860’s. The printer has operated in the city of Bristol ever since and offers a number of services, including lithographic print through its HEIDELBERG Speedmaster XL 75.
Taylor Brothers has also invested in digital and wide-format technology in recent years, with one of its most recent investments being a HP Latex 365.
Speaking about this latest project, Shaun Cooper, sales director at Taylor Brothers says: “It was an honour to print this book; not only is it a true celebration of human kindness and generosity, but it also highlights the progress and achievements possible when we join and give full support to a good cause.”

The design of the Cancer Centre acted as inspiration for the book’s design with the theme of nature and animals prevalent throughout. The book has been described as a reflection of the centre’s campaign, construction, creativity, commitment, and commemoration.
Olin Design was chosen for the book’s pages and covers and was printed in four colours plus a PMS with three foils and matt laminate.
“Olin looked great on the solids, the CMYK, and the special PMS” comments Cooper, who adds: “The paper printed beautifully, with fantastic colour reproduction for the photos. We’ll be sure to use Olin Design for future projects that need a sincere and tasteful look and feel.” 2,000 of the books were published, with copies provided to major doners in order to honour their contributions to the facility and the community.
