Nutshell Creative recently won gold for Buckinghamshire Business of the Year at the SME MK & Buckinghamshire Business Awards.

A full-service marketing agency based in Milton Keynes, Nutshell Creative has adopted a growth mindset which led the small business to scale significantly last year.

Helping to foster young people’s futures, Nutshell supports work experience from schools in Milton Keynes, and is also part of the new industry group Young People in Print (YPIP) which works to bridge the gap between education and printing.

Dedicated to keeping print alive, Nutshell Creative offers services specifically tailored to print businesses through Nutshell Trade Services.

Another initiative that utilises the power of print is the company’s literacy charity, Topic Heroes, an online writing platform enabling children to write their own books and have them professionally printed, completely free.

Utilising Nutshell’s creative and technical expertise and connections within the printing industry, the first pilot sessions are taking place in local Milton Keynes and Buckinghamshire schools now.

Lucy Swanston, managing director of Nutshell Creative, comments: “I’m so delighted to see Nutshell win Buckinghamshire Business of the Year at the SME Awards 2024. Although we work globally, our local roots are important to us and our impact on the community is something we hold very highly in our values.

“I want to thank my fantastic team, it is a testament to their hard work that we can proudly hold this award and we hope that it also acts as recognition for the print industry that an agency that advocates print and mail so highly has been acknowledged and celebrated.”
