Simon Cooper, managing director of Solopress since 2019, will now oversee both the Onlineprinters and Solopress online businesses

In line with international strategic realignment at the Onlineprinters Group, Simon Cooper has been named managing director of both Onlineprinters’ and Solopress’ online business.

Cooper has been managing director of Solopress since 2019 and in his role, will now oversee both businesses in the Onlineprinters Group.

Describing the move as the result of a “realigned joint focus”, Cooper says both businesses are now in a much better position to conquer the European market. “I am very pleased to be able to take both companies forward together and further develop our brands in the face of tough competition,” Cooper continues.

“We will continue to produce locally in Germany, the UK, and Spain in order to be as close to our customers as possible.”

By integrating its two online business models, Onlineprinters Group expects to leverage existing synergies more efficiently, and strategically boost international growth.

Esben Mols Kabell, managing director of the Scandinavian Print Group (SPG), will continue to manage the business in Scandinavia and will work to drive forward the group’s mergers and acquisitions activities.

As a result of the realignment of the C-level management team, the international management board now consists of Simon Cooper (online business of the Onlineprinters and Solopress brands), Esben Mols Kabell (SPG and M&A), Tobias Volgmann (group CFO), and Sascha Krines (group CEO).

Krines sees potential for growth through intensified networking within the Onlineprinters Group. He comments: “We want to share our knowledge and utilise important developments in the field of software technology jointly and in a resource-efficient manner.

“By integrating ground-breaking innovations such as artificial intelligence (AI), we want to stay ahead of the competition and further optimise the customer experience.”
