Label and packaging specialist, Bakers, has announced it has donated over £175,000 in 2025 to various different charities via its charitable arm, the Bakers Foundation.

The 2025 donations means Bakers Foundation has raised almost £700,000 since its creation, giving money to 40 charities, which Bakers says reflects its “long-standing ethos of community responsibility”.

Beneficiaries of the total funds include a mix of long-term partnerships and new causes, including Bellericay and Brentwood Foodbanks, Freddie’s Ataxia Fund, and Wipe Away Those Tears. This year’s new additions include Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund, Brentwood Community and Voluntary Service, and MND Foundation.

The Bakers Foundation was created in 2023 to formalise Baker Labels’ charitable initiatives which the company says has long been part of its company culture.

Steve Baker, managing director of Baker Labels, comments: “We’re proud to be able to contribute over £175,000 this year. The Bakers Foundation reflects our belief that business success should go hand in hand with supporting the community. The charities we support are doing vital work, and we’re pleased to help them continue it.”

Kirsty Dailly, marketing manager at Baker Labels, adds: “Many of the charities we support are nominated by our team, which makes the foundation’s work even more meaningful. It’s a privilege to see the positive impact these donations make in our community.”

Established over 50 years ago, Bakers is a family-run business with an estimated annual turnover of £16m. Recently it was announced that BakPac, Bakers’ flexible packaging division, has significantly increased its output thanks to the installation of two Galaxy Packtech machines. The company can now convert and ship over one million digitally printed pouches a week thanks to the new machines.
