Machinery supplier, Friedheim, has announced details of its participation at the upcoming International Materials Handling Exhibition (IMHX) for 2025.

IMHX, which launches on September 9th at the NEC Birmingham, focuses on logistics, handling, packaging, and e-commerce, welcoming visitors including fulfilment outfits, e-commerce operators, and manufacturing firms across a range of sectors and supply chains.

At the IMHX show, Friedheim will concentrate on modern production and logistical challenges, aiming to present a range of high throughput equipment solutions. These include its Beck packaging systems, specialty automation machinery from VARO, alongside a wide range of other technology partners.

Discussing IMHX, Seth Morgan, marketing executive at Friedheim, says: “We find exhibition experiences very grounding exercises, validating decisions and giving confidence to new challenges and opportunities.

“With our customers evolving and diversifying, we value this ability to stay ahead of the curve and offer the next generation of technologies.”

Alongside its announcement about the exhibition, Friedheim has revealed that it has joined the Automated Material Handling Systems Association (AMHSA), which are partners of IMHX. Friedheim has taken its stand on the AMHSA partner territory, exhibiting from Stand C65.

AMHSA, which aims to promote excellence in the automated material handling industry, was reportedly on Friedheim’s radar for several years. However, with a range of large projects in development, Friedheim wished to wait for a time that it could fully commit to benefitting the association.

Speaking of joining AMHSA, Friedheim says: “We’re grateful to AMHSA for welcoming us into the conversation and hope we can add our own unique value.”

In December 2024, Friedheim announced a strategic distribution agreement with Tecnau, a provider of finishing solutions for sheet-feed and continuous-feed inkjet presses.

Under the new partnership, effective from January 2025, Friedheim now distributes Tecnau's complete product portfolio in the UK and Ireland. This includes its unwinders, rewinders, cutters and stackers, dynamic perforations and punching equipment, as well as its high-speed book solutions.
