Konica Minolta Business Solutions UK has announced the appointment of James Pittick as its new sales director.

Officially hired from June 1st, Pittick is tasked with leading all of Konica Minolta’s UK direct and indirect sales channels, driving growth for the company’s Digital Workplace and Professional Print business lines.

Pittick joins with more than 20 years’ experience across printing, technology, and managed services sectors, with previous directorial roles at companies including Canon, FUTERA, and Nuffield Health. His expertise includes solutions-led sales, print and workflow technologies, and partner ecosystem development.

Commenting on his new appointment, Pittick says: “I’m delighted to be joining Konica Minolta to lead the UK sales function at such a pivotal stage in its transformation.

“The company has a strong heritage in imaging technology and a clear vision for the future. Its reputation for customer focus, innovation, and trusted partnerships, enable the delivery of innovative solutions that help customers transform how they work.”

The appointment of Pittick is part of Konica Minolta’s ongoing transformation goals as the company aims to evolve its operating model and deepen its engagement with customers and partners.

Konica Minolta Business Solutions UK also recently expanded its Client Engagement Centre (CEC) to help customers explore the potential of digital workplace transformation in their organisation and across key sectors and departments.

The expansion marks the second phase of the CEC’s development and represents one of Konica Minolta’s most significant investments in the UK to date.

The newly enhanced facility in Houghton Regis near Luton brings together the full arsenal of Konica Minolta’s digital and print solutions, including its Production Print and Industrial Print ranges.

Discussing how Pittick’s appointment aligns with the company’s wider goals, Rob Ferris, chief executive officer of Konica Minolta Business Solutions UK, says: “His appointment strengthens our senior leadership team as we continue to build an even more agile, customer-centric organisation.

“I look forward to welcoming James and working closely with him, as we continue to strengthen our position across our digital workplace solutions and helping customers ignite their print possibilities.”
