Printed.com, a part of The Printed Group, headquartered in Cramlington, has launched its new Ship to Pick-up Point service as a way to bring greater convenience and flexibility for customers of different shapes and sizes.

The new offering, also known as “Ship to Shop” means customers have the ability to order from Printed.com to one of over 30,000 local collection points across the UK.

The process is catered towards small businesses and personal customers, allowing them to choose a pick-up location such as a nearby shop, post office, or other designated collection point. The move falls in line with many businesses and ecommerce companies which have embraced collection points over the past few years as a way to reach more customers and give them a simpler shopping experience.

Printed.com says the company is using a secure and dependable delivery network which can guarantee “swift and efficient order fulfilment”.

The company also highlights the environmental benefits of the service as it says pick-up points reduce the number of delivery trucks on the road due to having single pick-up points which also eliminates the need for redelivery attempts.

Nicola Carney, operations director at Printed.com, says: “At Printed.com, we are always striving to provide more accessible and dependable solutions for our customers.

“The launch of our Ship to Pick-up Point service addresses the increasing demand for flexibility, particularly among our growing base of direct-to-consumer businesses, independent businesses, and individual customers like Brides and Grooms. This initiative underscores our dedication to innovation and exceeding customer expectations. We’re thrilled to see the positive impact this service will have on both businesses and individuals.”

Customers can activate Ship to Pick-up Point during the checkout process on Printed.com’s website with further integrations coming for customers of its SaaS platform – Printed Direct.
