A new membership program has been announced by Women in Print Alliance, designed to provide enhanced year-round benefits and greater accessibility for women.

Part of PRINTING United Alliance, Women in Print Alliance is a key advocate for women in the print industry and the new program aims to foster a supportive community and offer professional development opportunities. The program also advocates for the advancement of women in printing and graphic arts.

With the aim of reaching women with all needs and goals, Women in Print Alliance has developed a comprehensive membership structure, catering to students, emerging professionals, and industry veterans – reaching women at all stages of their careers.

Each membership offers unique benefits designed to suit the specific stage of career of each member and will include a mix of virtual and in-person benefits focused on career development, executive leadership, and work-life balance.

Membership ranges from individual membership for women working in all roles and segments of the industry at the inaugural price of $59 (£46.42). Corporate memberships are also available for companies who wish to provide membership seats directly to selected female employees.

Finally, student memberships are offered free in line with Women in Print Alliance’s commitment to attracting the next generation of women into the print industry.

Lisbeth Lyons Black, director at Women in Print Alliance, says: “We are incredibly proud to introduce the new Women in Print Alliance membership program, which reflects our, and PRINTING United Alliance’s, commitment to supporting women at every stage of their careers.

“While we will always provide a complimentary newsletter and broadly support inclusive industry initiatives, we recognise the need for women to access elevated personal and professional development programming that enhances their career journeys in print.”

Lyons Black continues: “By offering tailored benefits and resources, we aim to empower our members to achieve their full potential and drive meaningful change within the print industry.”

Women in Print Alliance will be present at the upcoming PRINTING United Expo taking place in Las Vegas from September 10th to 12th. During the event, the Alliance will be hosting its annual Women in Print Alliance Luncheon as well as informal meetups, and more.
