Digital print manufacturer, Durst Group, has announced its line-up of print solutions that will be on show at this year’s FESPA Global Print Expo under the motto “made in Durst.”

Durst will use the print-focused exhibition, which launches next week in Berlin, to highlight a full range of its latest print solutions, with a booth concept focused on applications, live demonstrations, and customer interaction.

Highlights will include the official market debut of the P5 X flatbed printing system, which was first announced in October 2024, expanding Durst’s range to include mid-range wide-format printing solutions.

The new machine is a flatbed printer with roll options, designed for applications including large-scale decoration and specialty packaging.

Durst’s LF 430 GF textile printer will also be presented at the exhibition following the finalisation of Durst’s merger with digital textile manufacturer, Aleph.

Durst first announced the acquisition of Aleph in September 2023, a purchase made with the aim of enhancing Durst’s position in water-based and sustainable printing technologies. Upon completion, the company will become a subsidiary of the wider Durst Group, taking on the name of Durst Como.

The 430 GF, which is the result of the integration of Aleph technologies, further expands Durst’s portfolio into direct-to-fabric (DTF) printing, aiming to enable sustainable production using water-based pigment inks.

Durst’s P5 500 TEX iSUB superwide-format printer will also be on show, a water-based sublimation printer with a width of 5.2m. The press offers integrated inline fixation, eliminating the need for a separate calendaring step and therefore streamlining the printing process. According to Durst, this process can reduce production times by up to 40%.

The TEX iSUB has been developed to offer a combination of print width, quality, and sustainability, designed for applications such as trade show construction, interior design, and wide-format textile solutions.

Rounding up the print solutions on show will be the P5 350 HS D4, a variation of its hybrid solution for roll and board printing. Durst’s Double 4 (D4) technology aims to maximise the productivity of its P5 UV series of printing systems through the implementation of a double CMYK colour configuration, designed for high-intensity production environments.

Highlights and Focuses

On the first day of FESPA, May 6th at 11am, Durst Group will host a press conference at its booth. Alongside product highlights presented by Andrea Riccardi, head of product management, chief executive officer and co-owner, Christoph Gamper, will provide a strategic outlook.

Topics of focus in the press conference will include the role of the newly formed Durst Como as an industrial centre for Durst’s future textile technologies. Gamper will also discuss the next generation of open software architecture following the recent acquisition of callas software.

Speaking ahead of the exhibition, Gamper says: “FESPA 2025 is not just about new products for us, it’s about showcasing our technological ambition.

“We are rethinking professional print production – with the most reliable printing systems on the market, a connected software architecture, a clear focus on automation, true efficiency, and resource-saving processes. ‘Made in durst’ stands for integrated solutions with responsibility, for our customers, their competitiveness, and our environment.”

Durst can be found on Stand B35 in Hall 27 between May 6th to 9th in Messe Berlin.
