Future Print Leeds, a UK specialist in short‑run no carbon required (NCR) print, has expanded its production workflow capabilities with Konica Minolta’s AccurioPro Flux Essential software.

The solution has been purchased to enable the business to increase capacity, streamline job handling, and support rapid year-on‑year growth across its dedicated NCR division.

The company’s NCR division, which serves customers through the NCRPrintOnline website, offers white‑label, next‑day delivery on short‑run NCR pads, books, and forms, with volumes reportedly rising by more than 20% year‑on‑year.

To maintain the 24‑hour turnaround that the company prides itself on, managing director of Future Print Leeds, Tim Roberts, sought a workflow solution that could simplify sequential numbering, improve throughput, and allow more staff to manage production.

Roberts says: “Short‑run NCR is our speciality and demand has exploded. We needed a workflow that could keep pace with us – something visual, fast, and easy for the team to use.

“AccurioPro Flux Essential gives us exactly that. It increases our capacity, keeps everything neat, tidy, and efficient, letting more than one operator send jobs through at once to multiple print devices.”

The company previously relied on legacy software for numbering NCR sets, which limited its operation to one staff member.

With AccurioPro Flux Essential deployed on a new dedicated workstation, the business now benefits from automated sequential numbering using CSV data, with a visual imposition and job preview which helps to reduce errors and setup time.

Hot folders allow for more rapid job submission, while make‑ready tools can simplify collation and finishing. This is all delivered through an interface designed to be modern and intuitive, allowing new users to learn quickly.

The software works in tandem with seven Konica Minolta production presses, including a recently installed AccurioPress 7120. Along with the workflow software, Roberts comments that this allows for the maintaining of speed, consistency, and reliability.

Roberts says: “AccurioPro Flux is a vast improvement on what we were using before. It’s visual, it’s simple, and it fits the way we work. As we continue to grow, it gives us the confidence that we can keep delivering fast, reliable NCR production for our trade customers.”

Adrian Watts, customer experience and workflow manager at Konica Minolta Business Solutions UK, adds: “Future Print Leeds is a perfect example of how AccurioPro Flux Essential can transform a high‑volume, short‑run environment.

“NCR production relies on accuracy, speed, and repeatability. Flux brings all of that together in one visual, easy‑to‑use platform. We’re delighted to support Tim and the team as they continue to grow.”
