The version 24.1 release of PaperCut MF includes scan reporting and archiving capabilities and support for Windows Protected Print mode

Print management solution provider, PaperCut Software, has released the latest version of its flagship software, PaperCut MF.
The latest release, version 24.1 of the software, has focused on allowing organisations to better understand and manage their print and scan activities.
The scan reporting feature can detail who, what, and where workplace scans are conducted. The scan reports can be filtered by user, department, or device, and scheduled for delivery at regular periods.
The software also comes with scan archiving capabilities, including the ability to save, review, and export scanned documents alongside associated metadata.
Version 24.1 also introduces a client management interface for easier troubleshooting and updated admin rights allowing administrators to delegate access to specific administrative tasks in a more granular and tailored way.
It is also compatible with the latest Windows Protected Print (WPP) mode. The support of Microsoft’s latest driverless printing platform has been included to ensure smooth transitions for users adapting to modern print workflows.
Matt Coad, head of self-hosted software at PaperCut, says: “Organisations are seeking greater transparency and control over their document workflows, and PaperCut MF 24.1 delivers exactly that.
“Whether it’s understanding how scanning impacts their workplace, transitioning to modern print protocols, or simplifying IT support, this release is packed with features to meet the evolving needs of today’s businesses.”
PaperCut MF 24.1 was released globally on December 10th, 2024. More information about the software and how to purchase can be found on the PaperCut website.
