Fujifilm announces new UK partnership

Fujifilm has announced a new partnership with Document Solutions (UK), a UK-based provider of printing and document management services.

The partnership aims to support businesses across Yorkshire and the North East of England with a range of Fujifilm’s latest Apeos multifunction printers (MFPs).

Originally launched in the UK and Italy in April of 2024 and expanded the following year with new monochrome A4 and A3 devices, the Apeos range is designed to provide high print quality, advanced security features, resource-efficient technology, and reliability.

Since release the Apeos range has since been introduced in France, Spain, Poland, Slovenia, and the Netherlands. According to Fujifilm, the Apeos range is already a market leader in the Asia-Pacific region and continues to gain momentum across Europe.

Since launching the range, Fujifilm has been working to expand its partner network to promote Apeos within all of its target regions.

Established over 15 years ago, Document Solutions operates from offices in Newcastle and Teesside, supporting more than a thousand local organisations with print and document services.

The announcement comes alongside a series of updates from Fujifilm’s wide-format and print-on-demand (POD) divisions.

Fujifilm Europe recently announced that it is introducing gold toner for its Revoria SC285S and Revoria EC2100S models.

The mid-range devices, which were announced in December 2024 and launched in January 2025, initially came with three special toners – pink, clear, and toner for textured stock.

White and silver toners were introduced four months later, and now the arrival of gold toner means a total of six speciality toner options are available.

The gold toner is available to order immediately, with the first deliveries expected in mid-December 2025.

Fujifilm was also recently awarded the RadTech Europe Innovation Award 2025 for its AQUAFUZE ink technology, which was presented as part of the RadTech Europe Conference and Exhibition in Warsaw.

The water-based UV-curable ink, which according to Fujifilm was released following a decade of research of development, was recognised for its unique chemistry and its ability to merge the strengths of water-based and UV-curable inkjet systems.

The technology aims to introduce a new UV-curable emulsion that achieves high image quality, strong adhesion, reliable performance, and enhanced sustainability, all while curing at low temperatures with LED UV lamps.

Speaking about receiving the award, Shota Suzuki, lead developer of AQUAFUZE, says: “Winning the RadTech Europe Innovation Award is a significant recognition for our team and a strong validation of the work we have done to push the boundaries of inkjet chemistry.
