The new mid-range machines, first teased at drupa 2024, come with a range of newly developed features as well as brand-new software integrations from Fiery

FUJIFILM Business Innovation has announced the global launch of four new mid-range production presses in its Revoria Press range.
Fujifilm’s new print-on-demand (POD) devices, which made their public debut at drupa 2024, are designed for a wide range of printing applications including catalogues, brochures, manuals, and sales materials.
The new Revoria EC2100 and EC2100S presses, built with quick turnaround commercial printing in mind, have a measured speed of 100 pages per minute. The SC285S and SC285 models can achieve a print speed of 85 pages per minute.
The EC2100S and SC285S presses are equipped with one speciality toner station in addition to their CMYK toners, allowing for five-colour printing in one pass. The EC2100 and SC285 presses, meanwhile, maintain four-colour capabilities.
In order to keep the presses compact in size, all four products have their toners set up vertically, utilising a newly developed technology from Fujifilm.
All models also come equipped with another new feature, the Smart Monitoring Gate D1, which detects colour variation and front-to-back misalignment during printing. The technology can provide automatic correction in real time, with the aim of maintaining print quality without compromising speed.

Fiery, a provider of digital front ends (DFEs) and workflow solutions for the print industry, has announced the launch of four DFEs which will work in tandem with the new machines.
The DFEs have been designed to maximise the productivity of the new Revoria Press series. Features include Fiery’s Intelligent HyperRIP technology, an automation software which boosts the productivity of the press by processing single jobs faster or multiple jobs simultaneously, allowing for faster turnaround times.
Other features of the DFEs include one-step colour management and zero-touch recalibration. They will also provide the full range of capabilities from Fiery’s new FS600 Pro software platform, which optimise production elements such as job grouping and print time estimation.
Fiery’s integrated software will also offer pink gamut extension capabilities which aim to enhance image vibrancy and improve spot colour precision.
The Revoria Press series was first launched in July 2021. Its flagship PC1120 model featured a one-pass, six-colour print engine with up to two speciality toners, with a print resolution of 2,400dpi and a maximum print speed of 120 pages per minute. Its Super EA-Eco toner reportedly has one of the smallest toner particle sizes in the industry.
Worldwide sales of all four machines will begin in January 2025.
